Distinguished Participation of Rawsam Human Rights Center at the 62nd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council – Geneva, Switzerland
Ms. Jannah Al-Shammari, Representative of the Rawsam Human Rights Center, an organization in ECOSOC Special Consultative Status, participated in the 62nd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC62), held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
As part of the Council's official program, Ms. Al-Shammari attended a session focusing on the protection of young people from persecution, where discussions highlighted the importance of safeguarding the rights, dignity, and fundamental freedoms of youth, particularly those facing discrimination, violence, displacement, and other forms of persecution.
Her participation reflects the Rawsam Human Rights Center's ongoing commitment to engaging with United Nations human rights mechanisms, supporting international dialogue, and advocating for stronger protection of vulnerable groups. It also reinforces the Center's mission to promote justice, human dignity, equality, and the protection of human rights at both the national and international levels.
