Human Rights Committee Visit to the Najaf Health Directorate
The Human Rights Committee of the Rawsam Human Rights Center, an organization holding United Nations consultative status, conducted a visit to the Najaf Health Directorate as part of the field visits program carried out by the Center to monitor the performance of public departments and service institutions in the governorate.
During the visit, the Committee met with Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghazali, Director of the Najaf Health Directorate, who warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and demonstrated a strong spirit of cooperation in promoting human rights principles within the health institution, particularly with regard to providing healthcare services to citizens and safeguarding the rights of healthcare sector employees.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for joint cooperation between the Najaf Health Directorate and the Rawsam Human Rights Center in ways that contribute to improving institutional performance, promoting social justice, and enhancing the quality of public services.
The visiting Committee delegation included:
- Mr. Ali Adouh, Attorney-at-Law – Chairperson of the Committee.
- Dr. Abdul-Ridha Al-Hujaimi, Attorney-at-Law – Committee Member.
The Rawsam Human Rights Center reaffirms its continued commitment to conducting field visits to monitor the performance of public service institutions and to promote and strengthen human rights principles throughout Najaf Governorate.
