Rawsam Human Rights Center Participates in Coordination Meeting with the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights
In response to the invitation extended by the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights, the Rawsam Human Rights Center participated in a joint coordination meeting held under the chairmanship of Advisor Mr. Saad Al-Abdali, on Monday, 13 April 2026, at the National Office Headquarters in Baghdad.
The meeting addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Commission and civil society organizations holding consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Discussions also focused on developing human rights work mechanisms, exchanging perspectives and expertise, and supporting national efforts in alignment with international human rights standards.
The Rawsam Human Rights Center reaffirms its commitment to continuing cooperation with relevant institutions in order to promote human rights principles and strengthen effective institutional partnerships.
The Center also extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Ali Al-Nashi, the Center’s representative at the meeting, for his valuable efforts and active participation.
